DMCA Copyright Policy

PerfectRec Inc., dba paper2audio.com ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to complying with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"). This DMCA Copyright Policy explains the process for addressing copyright infringement claims related to content available on our website or services. Filing a false DMCA notice can result in legal liability. Please ensure the accuracy and truthfulness of all claims made. We reserve the right to terminate the accounts of users who are found to be infringers in accordance with the DMCA and applicable law.

Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied and is accessible on our website or services in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice to our designated agent. To do so, please provide the following information in writing to the Designated DMCA Agent listed below, as required under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):

Identification of the copyrighted work:

Clearly describe the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.

Identification of the infringing material:

Provide the location (e.g., URL) of the material you believe to be infringing. Be specific so that we can locate the material.

Contact information:

Provide your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.

Statement of good faith belief:

Include a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

Statement of accuracy and authority:

Include both of the following statements in the body of the notice:

"I hereby state that I have a good faith belief that the disputed use of the copyrighted material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law."

"I hereby state that the information in this notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that I am the owner (or authorized to act on behalf of the owner) of the copyright or of an exclusive right under the copyright that is allegedly infringed."

Your full legal name and your physical or electronic signature:

Provide your full legal name and sign the notice physically or electronically.

Counter-Notification

If you believe that your content was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to the Designated DMCA Agent listed below pursuant to 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3). Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we may reinstate the material in question within 10–14 business days unless the original complainant notifies us that they have filed a court action to restrain you from engaging in infringing activity related to the content in question. Your counter-notification must include:

  • A description of the content that was removed and where it previously appeared (e.g., the URL).
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the content was removed or disabled due to mistake or misidentification.
  • Your name, mailing address, phone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in the judicial district where your address is located (or in King County, Washington if you are outside the U.S.), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notice or their agent.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.
