Hello Lambs we are your Shepherds grady and Alex we will guide you through the sheep stable of high school to your flock.

I'll give it over to Shepherd Grady on what this podcast is about.

Hey lambs how are yall and welcome to the stable today we will guide you through meeting your flock

When I started my freshman year at Howard, I did not know anybody here except one of our lead Shepherds Miss B. I was nervous to approach people thinking they would not like me. When I sat with some seniors to play cards with and I made friends with them. But I started spending all my time with seniors and not making friends in my grade. In the second semester when the seniors had to go off and do their internships. I had nobody to talk to. So I approached the other tables and at the basketball court and made friends with juniors, sophomores and freshmen in my grade. Now that I have a good friend group composed of both 10th 11th and 12th group. I have found my flock.

Nice alex now I have a story about when I first came to Howard that I think may help people in the situation I was in. I came from lakeside high school and it was really different. The halls would be packed to where you can't move. It was a bigger building and lots to remember and lots to forget. And when I came to Howard I thought I was going to be alone and have no friends but I was wrong.

Lots of people and teachers took me in and helped me with work and got me acclimated to the new school. This meant a lot to me and that is what really transitioned me to the flock I am in now. So if you are struggling like I was, start with talking to one person then get them to introduce you to people .

The lesson of both these stories that we have told you is to show that making friends in your freshman year of high school is important because you will need people to talk to and to take the weight of high school. Your friends will help you get through all four years of high school. While making friends in the upper grades is good. You also have friends in your grade too. Also if you see somebody that is alone or trying to reach out to people you should go up to talk to them because they might not know how to approach anybody.

This is an extra tip from both of us: making friends with the teachers of high school will help you because if you're friends with them you can give you a little bit more leniency on some stuff depending on the teacher.

high school friend can make your high school years and will be a great part of school probably the most memorable part to

Now we are at the end of the sheep stable. I hope you learned some good advice and gained confidence to approach people and find your flock of friends to be with in your high school career.
