Suraj does not know that's what he's doing. He has never known. He just doesn't want him doing dishes tonight.

50. The landing. The third step. The slipper is not there, and has not been since Ep 12, and nobody has ever mentioned it.

51. The lane. A taxi with its engine running. The whole colony evening going on around it — Padma Aunty's window, Tatha Reddy in a plastic chair, somebody's T.V.

52. ⭐ *the Full Name.** Tatha Reddy, ninety, deaf, in his plastic chair, who has never spoken to Anudeep in fourteen episodes and has no idea what is happening, answering a question nobody asked, at volume:

Tatha Reddy: Anudeep Nadella. Vellipothunnada.

Beat. Nobody answers him. He goes back to his tea.

(The full name, once, in the whole series, from the one person who never used it. It lands like a roll being called.)

55. Jay: nothing. He puts a hand flat on Anudeep's back for about two seconds and takes it off again.

56. Aishwarya: she is holding something. She hands it over. It is his own file — the blue one, with two rubber bands — that he left on her rail four days ago and never went back for.

Aishwar-ya: Idi nee di.

Anudeep Thanks.

Aishwar-ya: Sare.

(That is the entire conversation. That is all she says to him in the finale.)
