Revised Script 1 on the Documentary about the Prayer and Fasting Camp

Revised Script 1 on the documentary about the Prayer and Fasting Camp

On 5 September 2023, the man of God and general overseer of Impact for Christ Ministries, Prophet Philip Banda declared the month of October 2023, as a prayer and fasting month.
The theme of the October 2023 for prayer and fasting month is connecting back to God.
Prior to the October 2023 Prayer and Fasting month, the man of God, Prophet Philip Banda on 24 September 2023, prophesied that, “in the Prayer and Fasting Month, God will send you a sign. It's for your enemies to see and be ashamed. It is not for you to speak. Immediately you speak there will be a reversal.”
He also stated that the prayer and fasting month would be about sanctification. He said that when you are born, God already had things pre-destined for you. But the things in you are fighting against you to get the things that are already lined up for you.
Through sanctification those things loose their grip over you. So that you can walk into the things God has pre-destined for you.
The Prophet declared that at the end of the prayer and fasting month may we all declare that, “The Lord, He is God! The Lord, He is God.”
Through the teachings of the man of God, Prophet Banda during this prayer and fasting, we are learning what is keeping us from seeking God in a more focused way and what is preventing us from bearing fruit in our lives.
We are learning that God looks at the heart. God instructs us to rend our hearts, not our garments. God desires inward submission to Him and wants every hindrance in our hearts removed and for the fellowship to be restored.
As the Holy Scriptures say in Joel 2:12 to 13 N.K.J.V, “Now, therefore,” says the Lord, “Turn to me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping and with mourning.” So rend your heart, and not your garments; return to the Lord your God, for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness; and He relents from doing harm.”
We are learning the importance of following the principles and Commandments of God in our lives. For how do we expect God to bless us when we do not adhere to His word and we are full of pride, ego, evil tongue, gossip, envy and do not even love our neighbour and our fellowman.
This prayer and fasting has been calling for more self-examination and truth about ourselves. For Psalm 145:18 says, “the Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth.”
It has been challenging the contradictions in so-called Christianity vice vie what the Holy Scriptures teaches us how to be Christ-like. For as a Christian where is the glory of God in our lives? Are people attracted to this God we are serving? Or we are just a mixture which is still listening too soothsayers and mediums.
This prayer and fasting has been calling all of us to turn back to God wholeheartedly. Breaking free from the past of idol worship, ancestral worship, blood covenants, and the blockages that are preventing us from pursuing our relationship with the living God, the Holy One of Israel.
It has revealed to us how superficial our so-called Christianity is, because we are not interested in the Creator of all things but what we can get from Him. This prayer and fasting has revealed the need for true repentance to God and our fellow man.
It's has called for 2 Chronicles 7:14, "if my people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and I will forgive their sin and heal their land."
As the Prophet says humility is the root and beginning of true repentance. He has also called for all of us to re-examine our behaviors and actions daily and to repent sincerely with all our hearts towards God for all the wrongs we have committed to God and our fellow man.
This prayer and fasting has put an added onus on all of us not only to be hearers of the word but doers of the word. It has also made us accountable to the words we have heard.
As Luke 12:48, "...For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required..."
Deuteronomy 29:29, “The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.”
