This is honestly a life saver. I have ADHD and have difficulty reading words off a page. My job requires a LOT of reading- so, I have been fooling around with TTS apps for a while and they can be very expensive. This has delivered a better product that is easier for me to set up than competitors, automatically converting only relevant text (I read academic publications, it is pretty good at filtering out citations) It also summarizes figures fairly accurately. ...I really have such positive feelings about this app. Amazing.
I am a blind geoscientist, and as such, I read a lot of papers, some with very complex figures. I especially love the AI context and summary modes that do a very good job of describing figures and tables.... Great job with the app, this is my number one app for papers, and also study material, no more asking someone for help with figures and visual content.
Just came across a post of yours about Paper2Audio and I need to give you an enormous heartfelt thank you. I have a brain injury which has affected my ability to be reading on screens, and I have never been able to find an accessible text to audio source that doesn't sound awful. This is such a valuable resource for me.
I have a condition where I sometimes cannot keep my eyes open and focus enough to read text, and many older books do not have an available audiobook for purchase anywhere. Thanks to you I can read the series I want!! No more straining my eyes and giving myself migraines. You are amazing and much appreciated.
As a tremendous resource for the disability community, I am excited to see the continued growth and success of P2A. Even with the limitations of the free tier, it provides meaningful access to accommodations that remain financially out of reach through many competing platforms. That commitment to accessibility is not only admirable, it's impactful for a community that often faces significant financial barriers. The combination of quality, innovation, and affordability is the reason P2A is the only text-to-speech platform I consistently recommend to others. Whether the need is personal, academic, or professional applications, I have confidence recommending P2A because it delivers real value while remaining accessible to those who need it most....I genuinely believe P2A has the potential to compete on the world stage alongside major innovators while setting a standard for what inclusive technology should look like.
Paper2Audio is a blessing for dyslexia and/or anyone who writes lyrics. It is really useful to hear out-loud what you’ve committed to paper. I feel very fortunate to have come across this FREE no strings app. It’s adaptable to a number of uses but I love to listen to my lyrical writing. It gives me confidence in my word choices.
