What our users say
As a pre-med student who easily loses motivation and focus when reading long lecture notes, Paper2Audio has honestly been the best document-to-audio site I’ve used. It really helped me stay engaged and actually get through my materials without feeling overwhelmed. I especially appreciate that the platform doesn’t bombard users with ads or aggressively push paid features it’s very accessible even in its free version, which makes a huge difference for students. It’s been a game-changer for my study routine.
I'm a graduate student and have ADHD, I learn better when I can do two things at once. Friends have suggested text-to-speech but it always gets too detailed and reads the citations which makes it confusing. This was the best text to speech for a scientific article I have tried. Website was easy, download was easy and worked well, voice was nice, ability to change the speed is super helpful. The image summary was great, so much better than most text to speech.
As a student in academia with ADHD, it is helpful for me to listen to articles while reading. However, I have been having trouble finding a program capable of accommodating figures, scanned documents, and texts with handwritten notes in the margin. This app has been a gamechanger for me. It does everything I need it to do--AND it's free!? A huge thanks from this student to the developers. The completion of my degree will have been in no small part due to this app.
I never really like an app enough to leave a review, but Paper2Audio has really made such a difference in my daily life. As a student and hobbyist, this app has helped me get a lot of info during the lulls of my day. Would recommend to anyone that’s looking to get some extra studying in anywhere and anytime of the day.
Thank you for this resource!! Harvard grad student here with hundreds of pages of reading each week and this is saving my life -- sharing in the Harvard Graduate School of Education wide group chat because you guys deserve the world.
When I was an undergrad student, and broke, I was never able to get a good TTS reader, and always depending on using random ways to get my documents read out loud. Now that I just returned to the academic scene...and finding your program that accurately knows how to transcribe a journal, is an absolute game changer! Just all the features in your software is insane!... I am going to see if I can get my school to pay for a full subscription to support....This is a game changer!
